The creation of the FPP (Federation of Pool Professionals) is a response to the needs of pool professionals to organise their profession, improve communication, defend their interests, and gain recognition. The pool industry has become a booming profession with its own knowledge and skills set, regulatory constraints, training providers, professional qualifications and accrediting organisations. Business is booming, but the sector and its professions need solid structures, organisation, and the power to negotiate changes in legislation and regulations, develop standards and techniques, and communicate with the general public via the press.
The FPP is the only professional organisation specialising in the pool industry, uniting more than 700 of the industry’s biggest businesses including 150 from the commercial sales market (B to B) and 450 from the private sales market (B to C).
The FPP is working to develop professional regulations, standards and practical guides aimed at professionals working in the industry.
